Wrap Around Care At Burwood Preschool
We have our Breakfast Club for our Preschool children and Burhill children based at the Preschool, this opens at 7:45am till 9:00am. Burhill School children will need to be with us no later than 8:20am so we can leave no later than 8:25am to get all the children to school on time. We walk the children over to Burhill School and drop them off to their classes. This is a cost of £7.50.
We also have a Breakfast Club at the Forest school site for just Forest School children, this opens at 7:45am till 9:00am. This cost is £7.50.
Breakfast - Children have a choice of different cereals. toast and fruit and a drink.
Our Wrap Around Care is now at the Forest School Site and can caters for up to 40 children per session for our Preschool and Forest School children aged 3 years up and for children who attend Burhill school from Reception to end of Year 6, the cost of this is currently £13.50 (3.00pm - 6.00pm). We collect from Burhill School.
Children are offered a Snack - This can consist of wraps, sandwiches, crackers, yogurts, fruit and drinks. We have a NO NUT policy.
There will be 3/4/5 staff on duty depending on the number of children for the Breakfast and Wrap Around Care sessions. All staff have up to date Safeguarding training and are trained in paediatric first aid and all have a Level 2 in food hygiene. Training is regularly reviewed to ensure all staff are up to date. All staff have enhanced DBS checks. The staff child ratio is 1:8.
